THE BODIES OF THE FOUNDATION

THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES

The statutes of Stiftung Institut für Herzinfarktforschung define two bodies. The Board of Directors, currently comprising of three individuals, for external representation. The Board of Directors’ responsibility is the management, especially the proper administration of the foundation’s assets and the allocation of funds. Chairman of the Board is Professor Dr. Jochen Senges, the two Vice Chairmen are Dr. Anselm Gitt and Professor Dr. Uwe Zeymer.

The statutes of the foundation also provide for a Board of Trustees comprising of three to seven individuals. The Board of Trustees’ job is to advise the Board of Directors regarding scientific questions and to maintain contact to personalities and institutions offering their support to the foundation.
